What is Graph Paper Dungeon?

Graph Paper Dungeon is a free, single-player, turn-based dungeon crawler for your browser. Choose a Fighter, Archer or Wizard and lead up to four tiny fantasy heroes through a world drawn in pencil and ink. One graph-paper square is five feet.

Each floor has 20 main chambers and four optional rooms above and below. Fight monsters, solve mechanisms, meet curious residents and choose what to carry in the shared pack. Your atlas records discovered passages. You can return upstairs with your progress intact, or defeat the guardian and descend further.

How do I play?

Use the on-screen arrows, arrow keys or WASD to move. Select a companion to choose who acts. Each standing member acts once per round. Red ink shows incoming attacks. Use the camera tools to pan, zoom or follow the selected hero. On a phone, open View. The field guide explains the controls.

Do I need an account?

No account or download is needed. Expeditions save in this browser when local storage is available. Saves do not sync across devices. Clearing site data removes them.
