The open question
Precision platforming punishes with restarts. Can a cat knocking books off a shelf carry real difficulty without the restart being the punishment?
Every cabinet gets one of these eventually — the mechanics, the constants, and what turned out to be wrong the first time. Publishing the question first is a commitment to answering it rather than quietly dropping it.
